Justice and the International Criminal Court in Northern Uganda Speaker: Tim Allen, London School of Economics and Political Science Friday November 17, 2006 The atrocities perpetrated by the Lord’s Resistance Army in Uganda have been the focus of investigations by the recently created International Criminal Court (ICC). However, there has been hostility towards the ICC’s efforts to hold accountable those individuals most responsible for crimes against humanity and war crimes.
