The atrocities perpetrated by the Lord’s Resistance Army in Uganda have been the focus of investigations by the recently created International Criminal Court (ICC). However, there has been hostility towards the ICC’s efforts to hold accountable those individuals most responsible for crimes against humanity and war crimes. This lecture will review the issues and present a case for the International Criminal Court to address these crimes.
